A new opportunity has opened for a Business Development Specialist to join a growing commercial team operating across Central and Eastern Europe. Based in Prague with hybrid working and regular travel, this role offers the chance to build strong customer relationships, drive new business and play a key part in connecting local operations with a UK-based sales team.
Your Role
You’ll be the face of the business for regional customers, managing short-cycle sales and identifying new opportunities made possible by a newly established Prague warehouse. You’ll work closely with both local operations and the UK sales team to ensure customer needs are met with speed and precision. Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are more important in this role than extensive experience. The client is looking for someone who can learn and develop from within the company.

Expect to:
- Convert new business opportunities across CEE
- Support existing accounts with best-in-class service
- Align customer needs with warehouse capabilities
- Share market insights and customer feedback with UK leadership
- Represent the voice of the customer internally and the company externally
- Previous exposure to business development, technical sales or account management
- Confidence working independently and closing deals
- Fluent English (Czech or other CEE languages a strong advantage)
- Familiarity with electrical distribution or sales into aerospace, defence or energy sectors
- Understanding of EU logistics, customs or distribution operations is a plus
